Peak Rhythm launches in Early Access on Meta Quest on March 5, 2026 for $12.99
Peak Rhythm is a VR rhythm-climbing game set high above a city at night, where players climb by grabbing and twisting holds in sync with music.
Gameplay is built around a 5x5 Grip Grid where grips appear and Timing Rings tighten to the rhythm. Clean, on-beat grabs translate into upward momentum as a rising robot platform boosts height, speed, and flow, while late hits and misses slow progress and force recovery. The game uses a height-first scoring approach where altitude is the score, and includes mechanics like a Recovery Wall to help players regain momentum after mistakes. Peak Rhythm’s climbs also feature three grip types - Regular, Twist (a wrist-turn “volume knob” motion), and Double (requiring both hands).
Early Access includes seven original songs mapped across three difficulties per track, spanning genres including Drum & Bass, Dubstep, House, and Disco, with tracks credited to FEISTLING, Killin’ Void, Ion Diary, and funiel. Players can run solo attempts, aim for cleaner performances, and compare results via map-specific leaderboards. The launch build also includes practice tools like an endless practice mode, a replayable tutorial, plus accessibility options including adjustable player height, customizable grip colors, remappable keybinds, and VFX toggles intended to reduce flashing lights.
Peak Rhythm is developed by Zeitlos Interactive and published by Impact Inked. Multiplayer is planned as one of the first Early Access updates and is described as coming soon after launch.
