Cave Crave Adds Multiplayer On Meta Quest With A 50% Launch Discount

Cave Crave’s new multiplayer update is live now on Meta Quest, launching as an Early Access feature and letting players explore caves together for the first time.

Cave Crave is 3R Games’ VR spelunking experience focused on immersive underground exploration, mixing fictional caves with faithful VR recreations of real-world locations.

Multiplayer supports up to 4 players per session and launches with 11 maps total (10 caves from Story and Arcade modes, plus Nutty Putty Cave). 3R Games says players will need to navigate without a map, marking routes with chalk and managing flashlight battery life while crawling through tight squeezes and descending on ropes.

To celebrate the launch, 3R Games is offering a 50% discount code for Meta Quest: MULTIPLAYER-2CFB7B, valid through April 19, 2026, bringing the price from $14.99 to $7.50 with the code.

At launch, multiplayer includes avatar customization (hair, skin, and eye color), with Backer skin pack owners receiving two extra skins. Three new skin packs are also available: Cartograph, Reptile, and Sweetland, each featuring 10 skins.

Looking ahead, 3R Games says multiplayer will be expanded in the coming weeks with additional gameplay modes (including PvP and co-op), two new Arcade maps, multiplayer access to current Horror maps, quality-of-life improvements, and more skin packs. For now, the multiplayer Early Access release is on Meta Quest, with decisions on additional platforms coming later.
