The New Frontiers update is live now, and it also permanently reduces Strayed’s price from $19.99 to $14.99.
Strayed is an open-world multiplayer VR survival game where you gather resources, craft gear, build bases, and fight other players for loot across a shared island.
New Frontiers expands the world with two new biomes (Desert and Snow), and introduces a new Temperature system tied to cold exposure in the Snow biome. The update also adds a Comfort healing system, where staying near heat sources grants Comfort and gradually converts hunger into health.
Beyond the headline additions, New Frontiers includes a long list of systems and quality-of-life changes, including maps automatically downloading and saving for faster load times, multiple team management upgrades (ownership/promotion and the ability to kick members), plus updates like bag renaming and new player status lists on the wrist UI.
Strayed is developed by Crustacean Interactive.
