Jolly Match: First MR Match-3 Puzzles is a free-to-play mixed reality match-3 puzzle game on Meta Quest, and it’s adding a new limited-time competitive event Dragon’s Cave event

Introducing an asynchronous competition where up to 100 players enter a shared run and attempt to clear seven consecutive match-3 levels without a single loss. Players who make it through all seven levels earn a share of a 10,000 gold coin prize pool.

The event is presented as a progression across floating lava stones toward a central Treasure Island, with real-time updates showing how many contenders remain after each round. A failed level ends a player’s run immediately, with the event framing the elimination as the dragon removing the fallen challenger. Players who survive all seven levels reach the treasure together and activate a shared lever, triggering a finale where a golden cage drops onto the dragon and the reward is distributed equally among the remaining players.

Visually, the event uses uniform “marshmallow knight” avatars for all participants, with reactive animations, live progress updates, and the dragon’s responses intended to reinforce the mixed reality presentation and maintain tension throughout a run.
