Iron Guard: Salvation launches on PS VR2 on March 5.

Iron Guard: Salvation is a sci-fi VR tower defense sequel where you build, upgrade, and adapt your defenses while staying active in the fight - either overseeing the battlefield from above or jumping in to manually fire from your drone. It’s the follow-up to Iron Guard, and it’s already available now on Meta Quest and SteamVR.

On the content side, the game features 30 hand-crafted levels across multiple planets, designed with new obstacles and tactical opportunities across the campaign. Gameplay is built around fast-paced runs where enemies adapt to each battle, and players can choose difficulty as well as how hands-on they want to be -ranging from a command-style overview to getting right into the action. The game also includes multiple modes and mechanics intended to support different playstyles and leaderboard climbing.

Iron Guard: Salvation emphasizes resource and upgrade management, letting players level up both turrets and the drone, while using systems like harvesters, minerals, and factories to maintain a steady resource flow. It also includes hero units - Graves, Irina, and Mitchell - each with unique abilities that can influence a fight. For building out defenses, the game lists an arsenal of 25+ turrets, along with options like moveable platforms, superweapons, and other tools to adapt your setup as enemy tactics evolve.

Iron Guard: Salvation is developed and published by Xlab Digital.
