The Sentara Update (Update 1.2) is available now for Blade & Sorcery: Nomad.
Blade & Sorcery: Nomad is Warpfrog’s physics-driven VR combat game, mixing melee experimentation with modes like Sandbox and Crystal Hunt.
The “Sentara Update” (Update 1.2) is live now, and it’s described as the second of four free “Byeth Updates” planned to expand Blade & Sorcery’s world and factions through new official content.
The Sentara Update introduces a new Sentara-themed faction drop, including new weapons and armor, plus a new Sentara Ship level. Warpfrog also added a Rakta Dojo level as an additional map, and both new locations can be played in Sandbox and can also appear in Crystal Hunt as special opportunities.
Beyond the new content, Update 1.2 brings a major Survival Mode overhaul with more presets and customization options, a redesigned world map/mapboard with region tabs, and new water physics including buoyancy that affects items and ragdolls (and AI swimming behavior when NPCs end up in water). There are also new music additions for the faction maps, performance/optimization work, and a quality-of-life change that makes the Survival achievement for 50 waves track cumulatively across sessions instead of requiring a single run.
