Pirates VR: Jolly Roger Patch 1.0.1 brings stability, balance, and immersion upgrades
Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is getting a new round of polish aimed at making its treasure-hunting adventure smoother, more stable, and more immersive based on player feedback.
Patch 1.0.1 is now available, delivering a mix of overall stability and performance improvements, along with adjustments across AI, combat balance, audio, visuals, localization, and haptics.
On the gameplay side, the update includes general stability work, additional AI stability adjustments, tweaks to the system for throwing pickups, and changes to the bounding boxes in the cave ring puzzle area. It also adjusts enemy balance during the Cave level and the final boss, updates Spanish localization, and adds additional haptic effects.
Audio improvements include better fading between levels, a fix for missing subtitles during the parrot monologue at the ending, and adjustments to the music and sound effects in the final stage, including torch SFX.
Visually, Patch 1.0.1 adds new explosion particles for destructible pots and makes a number of environment and rendering improvements, including geometry and visual tweaks across the island, lighting adjustments in several levels, visual adjustments for AI, LOD tuning to reduce noticeable popping, and material adjustments throughout the game.
