Schell Games has become one of the premier development studios in the world of VR and their series "I Expect You To Die" is at the forefront of their portfolio. Coming off the news that Among us sold one million units in incredible speed, Schell Games continues their momentum announcing the newest edition in their "I Expect You To Die" series. For the uninitiated, this is a single-player VR escape room/puzzle game series featuring an old school spy movie theme (and one of the best intro songs you will find in all of gaming).
The first "I Expect You To Die" released in 2016 with the sequel "I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy and the Liar" released in 2021. Both games followed the same protagonist and we are excited to see how the story unfolds in this new adventure "I Expect You To Die 3: Cog In The Machine" coming later this year to the Meta Quest and Steam!
Whether or not this is a direct continuation of the previous story, it's worth visiting the first two games in the series to get familiar with the lore and gameplay if you haven't played them it. The series is known for is challenging and fun trial and error puzzles that indeed, we expect you to die plenty of times as you learn the correct solution.
This is just another example of 2023 being a great year for the industry of virtual reality!
