00:00:00.461 --> 00:00:11.032
Welcome to another episode of Rough Talk VR, a weekly podcast with in-depth game reviews, exclusive developer interviews and the latest metaquest and virtual reality news.
00:00:11.032 --> 00:00:20.931
We join our hosts, the father-son team of Dscruffles and Stratus, today as they spend another episode breaking down and discussing the world of virtual reality.
00:00:21.460 --> 00:00:23.083
Hey, welcome to this episode of Rough Talk.
00:00:23.083 --> 00:00:33.305
Vr coming at you with another edition of vr news with plenty to talk about, like all weeks, and you're coming at me today all dressed up, you know buttoned up with my work attire.
00:00:33.305 --> 00:00:37.220
Yeah, coming straight from nice lavender shirt from a work shift.
00:00:37.220 --> 00:00:43.182
Usually we record sunday sunday in the morning time because that's your day off, but unfortunately sunday evening.
00:00:43.182 --> 00:00:45.987
Yeah, you got called into work late last night.
00:00:45.987 --> 00:00:46.808
You got the call that.
00:00:46.808 --> 00:00:47.810
Well you know.
00:00:48.131 --> 00:00:51.304
Yeah, change of plans, it happens yep part of the not a lot.
00:00:51.304 --> 00:00:54.658
So I mean knock on wood my track record is pretty good.
00:00:54.698 --> 00:01:06.668
Your work's pretty understanding with it so we can't complain though yeah, that was brutal every week right, it made it tough to coordinate interviews and stuff because we didn't know which day off you were gonna have it was literally every weekend yeah, so I can't complain.
00:01:06.707 --> 00:01:17.909
This is like the first time since you've yeah, you've gotten that one, but but here we are and since we're recording late at night, it's going to be the only episode this week, but you know we'll try to make it doubly fun.
00:01:17.909 --> 00:01:22.927
Just uh, just to compensate and you know we were talking a little off air.
00:01:22.927 --> 00:01:27.013
As of right now, the podcast is sponsorless.
00:01:27.013 --> 00:01:29.126
I'll say no ad reads going on right now.
00:01:29.126 --> 00:01:32.868
Manscaped right now is not a current sponsor, adios.
00:01:32.868 --> 00:01:35.647
Yeah, unfortunately, you know that's the way business goes.
00:01:35.647 --> 00:01:37.444
Nobody has the same sponsor forever.
00:01:37.444 --> 00:01:37.745
No, you can't.
00:01:37.745 --> 00:01:46.022
Wow, we had them for like almost just about, if not maybe even a little bit more more.
00:01:46.022 --> 00:01:46.644
I'd have to go back and look.
00:01:46.644 --> 00:01:48.989
But it's not even about the, the product or anything like.
00:01:48.989 --> 00:01:53.128
That's like oh, that was a, that was a longtime friend saying bye to a friend.
00:01:53.128 --> 00:01:54.932
You could pull the band-aid quicker, you know.
00:01:54.932 --> 00:01:58.789
Yeah, so usually we do the patreon shout outs and stuff like that before our ad reads.
00:01:58.789 --> 00:02:06.754
But since there's no ad reads on this edition of vr news, let's give a shout out to our Patreon peeps to kick off the episode.
00:02:06.754 --> 00:02:12.861
You know the people that support us month after month and if you want to join this list as well, you can visit the link in our show notes.
00:02:12.861 --> 00:02:14.127
I'll plug that a little bit more after.
00:02:14.759 --> 00:02:18.105
But huge shout out to our Patreon supporters on our on-air shout out.
00:02:18.105 --> 00:02:24.204
Here we have Amelia Asim, mike Wentworth-Bell, aka Asp a sim.
00:02:24.204 --> 00:02:25.485
Mike wentworth, bell aka aspire, mike, aspire mike.
00:02:25.485 --> 00:02:26.788
We have tpz.
00:02:26.788 --> 00:02:32.724
We have jake carson, earth witness, crispy and shoes.
00:02:32.724 --> 00:02:35.191
So thank you all for your continued support.
00:02:35.191 --> 00:02:40.620
If you want to join that list, visit the link in our show notes to become a supporter of the rough dog re-art podcast.
00:02:40.620 --> 00:02:47.605
We have a couple different patreon tiers one with on-air shoutouts, one also with on-air shoutouts, your name across the bottom of a tier.
00:02:47.605 --> 00:02:48.989
One with no shout out.
00:02:48.989 --> 00:02:56.432
But you get access to an exclusive discord channel in our discord server which, by the way, I say it every week.
00:02:56.432 --> 00:02:57.865
Check out our discord server.
00:02:57.865 --> 00:03:05.068
It's the place to be a lot of cool game meetups, book discussion, music discussion, random off-topic discussion discussion.
00:03:05.068 --> 00:03:05.651
It's a good place.
00:03:06.180 --> 00:03:07.645
Got our Grimm channel man Grimm.
00:03:07.665 --> 00:03:08.087
Grimm Grimm.
00:03:08.087 --> 00:03:09.819
I think that we're going to make it.
00:03:09.819 --> 00:03:11.004
Amelia named it that right.
00:03:11.004 --> 00:03:11.788
Yeah, grimm, grimm, grimm.
00:03:12.280 --> 00:03:17.301
I wasn't sure if that was you or her, but when I had posted like can someone please make a Grimm channel?
00:03:17.342 --> 00:03:22.770
You're like, I'm fully capable of it, but I don Nah people work way too hard putting this together.
00:03:23.270 --> 00:03:25.914
And it keeps growing and evolving as well.
00:03:26.561 --> 00:03:31.132
Like a lot of Discord servers, we also had an influx of some annoying spam bots that we've cut out.
00:03:31.132 --> 00:03:35.592
We've finally gotten the kibosh on it, but I think that that was part of your fear, the only fans bot.
00:03:35.592 --> 00:03:40.352
Yeah, you're like, don't let me set up another server or another room and have it be disastrous.
00:03:40.740 --> 00:03:44.068
Yeah, I wasn't responsible for him coming in in the first place.
00:03:44.570 --> 00:03:55.056
So yeah, now we have a channel in there just for Grim discussion, because me, you and Chadwick are like three of what 69, 68 people that have access to Grim.
00:03:55.340 --> 00:03:57.147
I think Chadwick was 69.
00:03:57.147 --> 00:04:03.049
There's somebody in the Discord on the Grim side who keeps he's not a tester either, but he keeps track of how many tests.
00:04:03.159 --> 00:04:04.902
Yeah, because people are itching for it.
00:04:04.902 --> 00:04:06.164
So we're definitely.
00:04:06.164 --> 00:04:10.592
I'll say uh, lucky to have blessed.
00:04:10.592 --> 00:04:13.043
Yeah, fuck luck, that's just a blessing.
00:04:13.043 --> 00:04:16.557
Thank you, spoon, for access to that, but yeah, we even have a grim discussion.
00:04:16.557 --> 00:04:18.704
Yeah, building the army.
00:04:19.045 --> 00:04:23.665
And what's cool is when I posted I'm like because the reality of like, the magnitude of how this has to be played is really.
00:04:23.665 --> 00:04:26.540
The more I play it, the more I'm like, because the reality of like, the magnitude of how this has to be played is really.
00:04:26.540 --> 00:04:31.812
The more I play it, the more I'm realizing like, oh, we're gonna need legit.
00:04:32.172 --> 00:04:35.028
Well, think of it platoon, a group of six on at once.
00:04:35.028 --> 00:04:40.985
You know two people building, two people gathering resources and two people out exploring together.
00:04:40.985 --> 00:04:46.161
I'm talking the minimum, ideally 20, you know, the more the merrier dominate that server.
00:04:46.161 --> 00:04:49.187
But you can see how just six alone is just even.
00:04:49.187 --> 00:04:50.771
That is a ideal number.
00:04:50.771 --> 00:04:52.540
We took on the bear last night.
00:04:52.540 --> 00:04:54.384
Yeah, I got my ass kicked.
00:04:54.384 --> 00:04:58.581
Well, to be honest with you, to give ourselves the you know some credit.
00:04:58.581 --> 00:05:01.834
We took out a deer first, yeah, but deer ain't fighting back.
00:05:02.096 --> 00:05:07.230
You hit the deer with an arrow it runs away we hit that guy, like that deer, like three or four times before he dropped two.
00:05:07.230 --> 00:05:12.589
And I didn't want to say it while we were playing because I was the one like let's go kill this bear before we hop off.
00:05:12.589 --> 00:05:16.550
But I was like if the deer took three or four shots, oh, I did say it.
00:05:16.550 --> 00:05:26.985
I was like that bear is going to Instead of what we were running to, I'm like and like it took three shots, didn't it take three?
00:05:27.005 --> 00:05:27.408
shots to kill a deer.
00:05:27.408 --> 00:05:28.432
The bear is gonna kill us how many shots do we get?
00:05:28.451 --> 00:05:29.838
we got some shots on him, though I got off three shots on him.
00:05:29.858 --> 00:05:31.848
I know I hit him at least at least twice.
00:05:31.848 --> 00:05:33.334
I thought yeah, I definitely hit him twice.
00:05:33.415 --> 00:05:38.189
I hit him three times it was the easiest to hit him while he was chasing the other person yeah, no shit.
00:05:38.189 --> 00:05:40.562
But then once he killed you, then he's only chasing me.
00:05:40.562 --> 00:05:45.149
So that's how I think that's got to be the strategy if we go and fight him without better weapons.
00:05:45.149 --> 00:05:46.732
But I think we should just get better.
00:05:46.872 --> 00:05:50.201
We need some bandages or some shit, because the reality is is.
00:05:50.201 --> 00:05:58.033
I think he bit me when I was running over by and then you bled out and then, yeah, I was bleeding out because I I was counting down my own death.
00:05:58.033 --> 00:05:59.839
I'm like I think I'm dying.
00:05:59.839 --> 00:06:02.925
And I looked at him like, oh, I'm at 15, health now.
00:06:02.925 --> 00:06:03.627
Now I'm at six.
00:06:03.627 --> 00:06:04.649
I am dying, yep.
00:06:04.889 --> 00:06:05.870
Yep, that's how it ends.
00:06:05.870 --> 00:06:10.810
I'm like, yep, I'm dead, and after you died, yeah, that bear ate me, but we're getting the hang of things.
00:06:10.810 --> 00:06:12.088
We had a bunch of resources.
00:06:12.088 --> 00:06:13.115
Last night was real fun.
00:06:13.115 --> 00:06:20.367
Yeah, we're getting the hang of it.
00:06:20.387 --> 00:06:29.605
Walkabout meetups with a new course DLC drops, synth, rider Nights Guaranteed to find all the balls and you're going to play your 18 holes with a bunch of good people.
00:06:29.879 --> 00:06:37.288
VR social app meetups like Resonate and stuff like that, and then we have Shoes in there crushing it with GameKey giveaways as well, too.
00:06:37.307 --> 00:06:38.211
I don't know how he does it.
00:06:38.379 --> 00:06:40.408
Yeah, Shoes does a great job managing all that.
00:06:40.408 --> 00:06:47.488
I always secretly think shoes is really an inside man who just pretends to remember.
00:06:47.488 --> 00:06:53.976
We had that suspicion when we saw him in the game and then we saw him on the twilight zone wall and I was like I knew it and he was like no, I just helped on beta tests and stuff.
00:06:53.997 --> 00:06:56.687
But I was like yeah, I don't believe it, yet that's what he's.
00:06:56.687 --> 00:06:58.254
I mean, I'm still skeptical.
00:06:58.254 --> 00:07:07.403
You know what goes in front of shoes the word slippery and that's the act that's being played, but regardless no, there's a great job managing the giveaways and stuff.
00:07:07.423 --> 00:07:08.125
So fantastic.
00:07:08.185 --> 00:07:10.011
Everyone, everyone on the mod team is just.
00:07:10.581 --> 00:07:18.634
They're all like one nice unit, yeah so if you're a fan of the show, go check out the discord, go check out the patreon subscribe, rate us five stars, all that stuff.
00:07:18.634 --> 00:07:20.079
You know no ad reads today.
00:07:20.079 --> 00:07:31.634
But if you you know your studio, uh, publisher or anything like that you want to maybe talk about some ad reads and stuff like that, shoot us an email at damien at roughtalkvrcom.
00:07:31.634 --> 00:07:34.107
Look at that Custom domain email address too.
00:07:34.107 --> 00:07:35.639
That's D-A-M-I-E-N.
00:07:35.639 --> 00:07:36.944
Ooh, that is important to say.
00:07:36.944 --> 00:07:40.146
Huh At roughtalkcom.
00:07:40.166 --> 00:07:40.687
Rufftalkvrcom.
00:07:40.687 --> 00:07:47.081
There you go, I fucked it up too D roughtalkvrcom.
00:07:47.081 --> 00:07:48.745
There you go, I fucked it up too d-a-m-i-e-n at roughtalkvrcom.
00:07:48.764 --> 00:07:51.132
So that's why you're not getting my email there we go.
00:07:51.132 --> 00:07:53.577
So back on to the actual vr news.
00:07:53.577 --> 00:08:03.709
Now that we've had some fun ghosts of tabor, they have officially launched on the pico platform, maintaining cross-platform support as well, meaning that they're crazy.
00:08:03.709 --> 00:08:10.951
People on pico platforms live and servers get to play with ghost uh, with uh, pc players and with quest players.
00:08:10.951 --> 00:08:13.923
It's not its own specific servers for that platform.
00:08:14.103 --> 00:08:25.637
They look so nice on pcvr yeah they're doing a great job and it's cool because it looks pretty damn good on the quest 3 yeah but just just them, and I won't say it's like such a change that you're gonna go like holy shit.
00:08:25.581 --> 00:08:28.971
I'm never on the quest 3, yeah, but just just them, and I won't say it's like such a change that you're gonna go like holy shit, I'm never playing the quest 3 version again.
00:08:28.971 --> 00:08:33.227
It's not that drastic, but it's like where the changes are I'm like all right, this is.
00:08:33.227 --> 00:08:37.667
It's cool that you can tighten up the artwork like that yeah, they're playing on pcvr.
00:08:38.008 --> 00:08:44.389
For one, I'll say I'm so grateful for how seamless our pcvr experience has been yeah, I got it pretty much figured out.
00:08:44.809 --> 00:08:48.990
I turn on my computer, boop takes 15 seconds to boot up super fast.
00:08:48.990 --> 00:08:56.629
I log in do-do-do-do-do and then virtual desktop opens up by default and then I put on my headset, I open up virtual desk.
00:08:56.629 --> 00:09:01.203
It's literally like 60 seconds extra time in my setup process.
00:09:01.203 --> 00:09:01.926
It's so seamless.
00:09:01.926 --> 00:09:14.842
But I will say, pc VR has weirdly given me an appreciation for how good the quest 3's graphics are on standalone vr for some games, yeah it's like what I expected some things to look like.
00:09:16.245 --> 00:09:17.268
You know it just wasn't.
00:09:17.589 --> 00:09:29.807
Maybe I had unrealistic expectations after 100 because I expected pcvr to be doubly, if not triple, as good at graphics as the standalone VR, which, I'll be honest with you, they weren't.
00:09:29.807 --> 00:09:33.203
It was just like tighter resolution, extra details in spots.
00:09:33.203 --> 00:09:34.710
So I'm like, wow, the quest, the quest.
00:09:34.710 --> 00:09:38.221
Standalone headsets have come a long way yeah, it's holding its own.
00:09:38.522 --> 00:09:46.028
I mean, I'll admit it's definitely not PC VR, but in some games it's like it's close enough that it really doesn't matter.
00:09:46.681 --> 00:09:52.067
I think if we were to have hopped into PC VR when we had our Quest 2, would have been a much noticeable.
00:09:52.962 --> 00:09:54.360
Especially like when we first got the Quest 2.
00:09:54.360 --> 00:09:55.686
I put my Quest 2 on last week.
00:09:55.686 --> 00:10:08.371
Yeah, I told you about this experience like a month ago and you're like shut up, and now you experienced it too, and it's funny because the pass-through which to me at the time, the black and white pass-through I'm like I can live with it, I can see just fine around my room.
00:10:08.371 --> 00:10:12.095
But I was like, holy crap, is there something wrong with my headset?
00:10:12.095 --> 00:10:16.142
And I'm like, no, this is just how it was and it's pretty uncomfortable.
00:10:16.182 --> 00:10:21.552
It's bulky it's heavy it's kind of janky feeling it's got the weight.
00:10:21.552 --> 00:10:22.883
You can definitely feel the weight.
00:10:22.883 --> 00:10:39.589
And then, for for some reason and I don't want to get into what I had to put on my old quest three strap like the, the one that comes with the headset, yep, yeah, not good, not good.
00:10:39.589 --> 00:10:40.431
I.
00:10:40.431 --> 00:10:45.028
I instantly got it so I could put the the other one back on with the back support.
00:10:45.820 --> 00:10:53.845
But, man, the one thing I miss more than anything and it felt so good to pick up was the Kiwi extended grip controllers.
00:10:53.845 --> 00:10:56.765
Yeah, with the weight, I'm like, fuck, I miss these.
00:10:58.101 --> 00:11:03.548
We were so decked out on Kiwi gear, I don't care about the ring because I never really had a problem with it.
00:11:03.727 --> 00:11:06.113
But those things stay in your hand.
00:11:06.293 --> 00:11:06.494
Yeah.
00:11:06.740 --> 00:11:08.807
And the Papa grips is what I'll say.
00:11:08.807 --> 00:11:10.706
The really nice head strap too.
00:11:10.706 --> 00:11:18.346
I was like man, I miss you so much and I know you can modify it to fit, but I'm just not, I'm not drilling holes in it?
00:11:18.639 --> 00:11:23.730
No, and the battery's not going to support it, anyways, as far as actually charging the damn headset.
00:11:23.730 --> 00:11:28.143
But yeah, I it anyways as far as like actually charging the damn headset.
00:11:28.143 --> 00:11:35.643
So but yeah, I put the two on and I will say, if you're a two owner, oh mg, that difference is is monumental and we didn't feel that way when we first got the quest three.
00:11:35.702 --> 00:11:46.167
Remember our first night we were like, oh, this is kind of you know, I might even go back to the quest two just for because we have all the accessories and stuff like that yeah now I don't think I could not no, no, no.
00:11:46.326 --> 00:11:59.312
If I don't have to, it's cool to have it, but it's just a little piece now that can sit over there and if I don't have to wear it, I'm great but got a little sidetracked but ghosted to bore, officially launched on the pico platform.
00:11:59.312 --> 00:11:59.854
That's huge.
00:11:59.854 --> 00:12:04.385
That is, and I think you know, when they launch on psvr2 with no date of.
00:12:04.385 --> 00:12:08.133
All they've said is it's in the works, eventually it's going to come when it's ready.
00:12:08.133 --> 00:12:08.494
It's ready.
00:12:08.559 --> 00:12:19.186
There's no reason to rush anything, I'll give them props for going PSVR 2, because if they chose not to, it's not like anybody would be like well, yeah, but they're getting hounded about it.
00:12:19.299 --> 00:12:20.301
I see it in all the comments.
00:12:20.321 --> 00:12:24.384
Well, they're smart and you know Scott's going to hit every fucking platform he can hit.
00:12:24.384 --> 00:12:25.686
So I mean it's good.
00:12:25.686 --> 00:12:30.509
But I get it when developers are kind of like one eye in that whole area.
00:12:30.509 --> 00:12:33.152
But regardless, it's going to be huge for PSVR 2.
00:12:33.152 --> 00:12:34.432
It's going to look nice too, I bet.
00:12:34.533 --> 00:12:38.537
Yeah, that's what I was going to get at when that launches on PSVR 2, that's going to top the charts.
00:12:38.537 --> 00:12:42.966
That's going to be huge for that platform To have a game like ghost of tabor.
00:12:43.145 --> 00:12:52.413
Yeah yeah, and then just being able to drop your other games around the corner, it's, it's, it's pretty nice yeah, no, no news on when.
00:12:52.493 --> 00:13:03.774
Even in the upload vr article I saw of them announcing the pico platform launch at the bottom it was, like you know, ghost of tabor's comment on the psvr2 launch is quote unquote soon.
00:13:03.774 --> 00:13:07.750
But I think that that's good you don't set any official date, you don't rush yourself.
00:13:07.750 --> 00:13:11.964
Let it cook in the oven, let it marinate and then, when it's ready, it's ready.
00:13:11.964 --> 00:13:21.811
So that's going to be huge once they're on pcvr, quest, pico and psvr they're going to dominate, that's even more well, dude, they're already dominating.
00:13:22.131 --> 00:13:24.806
Do you think grim will be available on all those platforms too?
00:13:24.806 --> 00:13:27.432
I mean, we know it's going to be on psvr too.
00:13:27.432 --> 00:13:31.063
We saw him have the dev kit in the interview last week.
00:13:31.063 --> 00:13:32.450
Spoon there's no doubt so.
00:13:32.471 --> 00:13:42.624
The only one in question there is the pico platform I well, I mean, and I don't know how the whole side of business works, so everything you're going to hear is just pure speculation.
00:13:42.624 --> 00:13:50.711
But I I would think that once you've set up the network chain, that you have access to Pico people and you know what has to be done.
00:13:51.541 --> 00:13:53.107
Now you've done it for one game already.
00:13:53.259 --> 00:13:55.908
There's no reason you can't do it for another game.
00:13:55.908 --> 00:13:56.701
It's just once.
00:13:56.701 --> 00:14:01.345
You've already originally broken that ice and you know the process, just like getting on the store.
00:14:01.345 --> 00:14:09.096
I'm sure if you get your game on the store and you make a new game, you're going into it right off the bat with a much deeper understanding of what you should be doing from day one.
00:14:09.440 --> 00:14:11.649
Yeah, the developers of Space Pirate Trainer.
00:14:11.649 --> 00:14:12.841
So yes, I will say.
00:14:13.423 --> 00:14:17.192
I would assume sooner or later it would end up on the Pico.
00:14:17.519 --> 00:14:18.181
Yeah, and the second one.
00:14:18.181 --> 00:14:20.946
You said, like the developers of Space Pirate Trainer, they made BAM Look at BAM.
00:14:20.946 --> 00:14:25.514
They made BAM Look at BAM, got right on the story Iron Strike that's made by the same developer as Iron Lights.
00:14:25.533 --> 00:14:26.134
I mean you learn right.
00:14:26.134 --> 00:14:28.883
I mean it's like anything else.
00:14:28.883 --> 00:14:29.947
You get those connections too.
00:14:29.966 --> 00:14:30.950
Correct, it makes sense.
00:14:30.950 --> 00:14:36.899
It seems like a lot of any industry is who you know, those connections and everything.
00:14:36.919 --> 00:14:37.745
The who you know is the.
00:14:39.100 --> 00:14:40.880
It's like the unwritten rule of any industry.
00:14:40.880 --> 00:14:41.581
I've gotten.
00:14:42.462 --> 00:14:50.488
I've gotten two jobs in my life because of who I know, not what I know, and neither one of which I was qualified for.
00:14:50.687 --> 00:14:52.789
Yeah, it's the unwritten rule of any industry.
00:14:52.789 --> 00:14:53.789
Yeah.
00:14:54.171 --> 00:14:56.471
Yeah, because people know the person.
00:14:56.471 --> 00:15:11.812
If you know somebody and you really know them as a person, let's say they're genuinely a good person, you know they're a hardworking person, they're dedicated, they have all these qualities you can set them up with that opportunity to you know.
00:15:11.812 --> 00:15:18.525
I mean, I guess it's a gamble either way, but it's a gamble I think you're less likely to lose Because you actually know the human being.
00:15:18.525 --> 00:15:26.480
Unless it's surgery or court, you pretty much figure out anything you know.
00:15:26.480 --> 00:15:27.202
So it's just up to the individual.
00:15:27.202 --> 00:15:28.828
But yes, it's surgery or court, you pretty much figure out anything you know.
00:15:28.849 --> 00:15:29.530
So it's just up to the individual.
00:15:29.530 --> 00:15:30.253
And but yes, it's who you know, dude.
00:15:30.253 --> 00:15:37.495
Yeah, in other news, wanderers, the fragments of fate one of my most upcoming you know, upcoming hyped games in the whole vr industry right now.
00:15:37.495 --> 00:15:42.751
It's a remaster of the original wanderer, which was available only on pc vr.
00:15:42.751 --> 00:15:47.609
This one's going to be available also on PC VR, but also Quest and PlayStation VR too.
00:15:47.609 --> 00:15:52.609
It's going to have everything from the original game plus it sounds like some extra content.
00:15:52.609 --> 00:15:53.845
I'm so hyped for it.
00:15:53.845 --> 00:15:56.168
It was supposed to come out June 27th.
00:15:56.168 --> 00:16:00.626
Unfortunately, last week the developers announced that they need to delay it until September 12th.
00:16:00.626 --> 00:16:24.815
But even though how hyped I am for it like I said, it's one of my most hyped upcoming vr games I'm not exactly sad to see it delayed, because I would rather see it delayed two, three months, whatever, and have it released properly than them, you know, cut content or have bugs or have a sloppy launch just to meet that june 27th deadline oh yeah, I mean that's.
00:16:25.817 --> 00:16:29.775
They don't usually hold it back just for shits and giggles, yeah, so there had something came up.
00:16:29.796 --> 00:16:43.763
There had to be a bug or maybe they they weren't meeting as fast progress as they thought but for whatever reason, wanderer, the, the tales, the fragments of fate wander, the fragments of fate delayed until september 12th.
00:16:43.763 --> 00:16:49.789
But again, again, I'm hyped, but I'm not crying about it, because if it means a proper launch I'm happy.
00:16:49.789 --> 00:16:50.312
That's all.
00:16:50.371 --> 00:16:50.572
I need.
00:16:50.572 --> 00:17:01.221
And then, in other news, niantic they're the, the makers of Pokemon go, the AR app that everybody's, everybody's heard of at at this point.
00:17:01.221 --> 00:17:08.647
Uh, they, they launched a new app on the Quest 3 called Hello Dot, and it's a demo.
00:17:08.647 --> 00:17:11.030
It's free, so you don't need to pay anything for it.
00:17:11.030 --> 00:17:17.236
It's not really the most in-depth or anything, but it puts this little virtual pet thing in your living room.
00:17:17.236 --> 00:17:17.977
Pokey pet.
00:17:18.196 --> 00:17:25.469
Yeah, I don't know, it's not Pokemon, but let's be honest, let's call it what it is Like a cross between Pokemon and Digimon shit.
00:17:25.980 --> 00:17:30.652
It's like a VR version of an existing series they have called Peridot.
